As part of the celebration of UP Broadcasters' Guild's 8th anniversary, the org invited the Pinoy Dream Academy people for a symposium entitled: DREAMWEACERS: the Materialization of Dreams in Philippine Reality TV.

Nakakainis kasi di ko naabutan ang buong sympo dahil me thesis proposal presentation kami that day at humabol lang ako in time para marining ang final messages at ang pagkanta nina Jay-R, Panky, Chad at Irish. Siyempre pati ng Headmaster na si Jim Paredes...

Cool kasi we had a chance na maging close sa kanila kahit sandali...

minsan ang sarap maging bata ulit. walang problema, walang iniintindi. Parang ang lahat ay puro laro lang…

ang drama ng intro, pero ang point lang naman ng entry na ito ay sabihing nagpunta kaming SM para maglaro sa Quantum! Hahaha.

Grabe naman kasi, ang tagal bago ako nakapaglaro ng ganito. Ang tanging iniintindi ko lang ata ng panahong ito e makakuha ng tickets! Wakokokokokokokoko.

Pero wala nang mas sasaya pa kasi kasama ko siya sa pagdudupang ng tickets!

In all, naka 117 tickets kami for today. Which brings me back to reality! Putsa, 115,000 tickets pala ang isang phone sa Quantum. Wahehehehehe.

misadventures for a political story

Bambi are required to submit a 1.5 minuter political news story. As newbies in this field, we really found it difficult for us to do and gather enough materials for this.

It took us days before we were able to get a concrete lead. That was after we spent a lot of bucks, calling all the department offices, in our hopes that they can share us something good to cover.

We just went to the Congress, praying ardently that an issue would arise, or that the congressmen would somehow lose their cool and make a jungle out of the session. But to our dismay, they were so behaved. not minding the fact that only 80++ representatives were there.

HAY!!!!

So we just followed the lead on the motion for reconsideration filed by Representative Remulla regarding the wage increase bill.

Lucky enough, we got the respondents we need, though not in an easy manner. I was able to interview a labor group alliance. Bambi was able to get an interview with a factory owner and got footages of the factory workers too.

But before that was a long way walk along Makati. After being bashed a lot of times by Chinese businessmen, and after a lot of off-the-record interviews!!!!!

someone hired us to edit this film for a video narrative festival. so kailangan na naman namin ng kapagyarihan ng extra joss, kape, at kung ano ano pang nakakapagpagising ng diwa at katawan.

no wonder, nananaba ako. sabi ko nga, i compensate lack of sleep by eating.

hahaha.

it was a nice editing session. not the type na seryoso kami. we were with marie, katha and john. they were the students who hired us for the project.

hei, i am back!!!

i just passed by to update my so outdated blog. a lot of things have happened in my life; and it is just that i am so busy with these things that i wasn't able to update you guys.

I am now working on the RRL part of our thesis. I am so inspired to write that part that i decided to go online for a while just to while my time. hahahaha....

Anyways, i also am in this crossroad whether or not i'll join this friend of mine's business venture. It really is quite amusing, but i don't think i can manage my time well with that.

What else, i also have a new baby to take care of. Figuratively and literally... hahaha! mamatay kayo kakaisip!

wala na nga sigurong mas tatamis pa sa narinig ko nung araw na yun mula sa'yo. lalo na siguro pag naalala ko lahat ng pinagdaanan natin bago mo sinabi yun.
