There i was, holding the headgears that i previously wore during my ROTC days...

Why?

Because, we had our Acquaintance party at TOMATOKICK. And by the way the title of the event sounded, we do deserve HATS-off just by pulling it off.

So, kanya-kanyang drama ang mga tao sa paghahanda sa okasyong ito. Pero di mo kakayanin ang effort ni BeLotz. Magpinta raw ba ng mushroom headgear from tissue at newspaper at bucket ng KFC! wahehehe. He ended up being a winner. SIgh! so much for me having the award... wahehehehe

And of course, i have to commend the crab hat ni OLAN! wahihihihi. looks good on me too!

What a worry-free day, ayt?!?!?!

Because of the storm, our newscast production was moved from tuesday afternoon to wednesday morning!

And there's nothing that we can do but to produce.

I am the first producer of the day. and we have to admit, it is very hard to do so. It is difficult to do something for the very first time, even if you do think that you have prepared well for it.

besides, Murphy's law came into being today. (If something wrong can happen, it will...)

Hay, too much for my First newscast production.

Kapamilya, Deal or No Deal!

Well, during the first episodes of the show, i didn't actually like it. But as it progresses, i actually got hooked. Not for Kris Aquino (don't get me wrong, i admire her) or for the 26 K's, but for the thrill of answering for the player, screaming at the top of your lungs the decision you would have made if it were you who was playing.

Anyways, walang koneksyon ang KDOND sa entry na ito. Gusto ko lang ishare yung itsura ng case ng condenser microphone namin na ginagamit for studio recording.

Yesterday, my friend from La Union Arrived today at Manila to visit us.

But, because of untoward incidents (like the extension of my production class and the scarce UP-SM jeeps), he waited so long. Putting it in his words, "na-try na niya lahat ng posisyon ng pag-upo sa SM".

Nakaganti naman siya, dahil ilang beses niyang tinry na sundutin ang pwet ko ng payong niya! Kamusta naman ang gawin niya yun sa corridor ng SM diba?

But as soon as he went for a visit, the time came for him to go elsewhere and pursue what his heart wants to do.

Ngayon, umalis na siya... :(

ABS-CBN!

Today, Chris, Ice and me went to the ABS CBN compound to interview Mr. Noel Alamar, a reporter from Radyo Patrol, DZMM 630.

Yes, we waited long at the entrance, and we met a lot of people who really wanted to go inside the compound just to see artists, even without tickets.

And did i just say that the guards at ELJ building and at the Visitor's entrance resemble each other! as in!!!!

A day at the PIA

Woke up at around 4 am just to ensure that i won't be late for the meeting at mcdo philcoa around 8:00. We will be going to PIA to interview Ma'am Fe nicodemus of KAKAMMPI and Buhay Migrante.

I wasn't able to eat breakfast because i feared that i would be late. But as soon as i have arrived at Mcdo, there was only cesar who was waiting for me.

I was able to eat breakfast. still, other group members were out of sight. Hay...

We took a cab na, kasi ayokong malate sa appointment. Good thing, we came minutes earlier that the schedule.

After we got the interview, we were requested to grace the radio show at DZRM 1278. The show aired form 11:30 to 12:30. It was really nice and cool. We didn't feel the tension at all, di tulad ng tension na nararamdaman namin kapag sa radio studio kami sa school nagsasalita... (pano ba naman kasi, nakaka ajit naman talaga ang possibility of singko sa production pag nagkamali ka ano...

Ako ang inyong Tiya Dely...

Today, Tiya Dely was awarded as an outstanding media practitioner in the field of Radio. Imagine that she spent almost 7 decases of her life to pursue her love for the radio industry.

almost 7 decades have passed, but her voice remains unchanged. Her physical body may have deteriorated, but not the live soul from her speech.

And today, the BC 121 Class were all dignified, with the formal attires we were wearing.. We served as the ushers for that day, and we were also covering the event for our radio speech class.

That is how my conversation with my boss went when we chatted. Why? Because i told her i have just finished nursing my grandma and my mom who presently have flu.
